What About the Packraft Equipment?
At Packraft Trip, quality and safety always come first. That's why every participant receives a complete set of premium equipment, allowing you to focus entirely on the adventure.
We use the very best in the industry: Alpacka Raft from the United States. These packrafts are among the finest in the world—ultralight, exceptionally durable, and designed for both challenging adventures and maximum comfort. Even if it's your first time packrafting, they're easy to inflate, pack, and use.
You'll also receive a high-quality paddle, personal flotation device (PFD), dry bag, and a comfortable hiking backpack that fits all your equipment in a smart and compact way. The backpack has been carefully selected for maximum comfort, even during longer hikes with all your gear.
Before you set off, our team will provide a clear safety briefing and explain exactly how to use the equipment and what to expect along the route. That way, you can start your adventure safely, comfortably, and with confidence.

You'll also enjoy fresh orange juice, milk, and, of course, coffee or tea. We offer both sweet and savoury toppings, so there's something for everyone.

The trip is limited to 20 people. Although there may be a strong group feeling during the trip, it is certainly possible to walk at your own pace. You don't have to stay with the group all day. Thanks to the daily briefing and information in the app, you should be able to complete the route independently.
You will be given a Raft Inflation Bag during the adventure, which you inflate like a lazybag. Scoop some air and squeeze it into your raft, and your raft is inflated! With the right technique, this only takes a few minutes.
Packrafting is a relatively new sport that came over from Alaska. Here they came up with a solution for hikes in natural areas with a lot of water: a super-light raft that fits easily in your backpack, a so-called packraft. It allows you to alternate hiking trails with rivers and cover longer distances. It is an active form of slow travel.
Most of our travellers are between 16 and 60 years old. Whether you want to go on an adventure with your partner, a group of friends, or as a solo traveller, this trip is perfect for you.

Anyone can packraft! You get clear instructions about the route and your equipment from one of our guides and you decide how many breaks you take along the way.
On the first day of your trip, the briefing starts at 09:00 with an explanation of the route and your equipment. From 09.30, you will leave independently with the route on your phone. On days 2 and 3 of your route, you can decide on your own departure time.
Start the day with a fresh breakfast which will be available daily between 08:00 - 09:00, and then start your trip. Keep in mind that a trip including breaks takes 6-8 hours on average. On the last day of your hike, we expect you at the base-camp between 15:00 and 18:00 at the latest. Take your time, enjoy the adventure. You set your own pace.
The basecamp is located in the middle of nature. The Basecamp is the starting and finishing point of all routes. Here you will find everything you need for a wonderful overnight stay after an adventurous day. A place to have breakfast together in the morning, a hot shower after your trip, a campfire to talk about your day together or retreat to your tent where you can relax and look at the stars.
If the water level at the planned location is not suitable for a safe or enjoyable packraft trip, we will immediately look for an alternative. We check if the water is navigable at one of our other locations at that time. If so, the packraft trip will continue there.
Each person is provided with their own tent as standard. This way, you always have your own private space to relax and enjoy some peace and comfort.
Would you prefer to sleep together with someone? No problem at all – sharing a tent is absolutely fine. This gives you the luxury of privacy, with the freedom to make it a shared experience if you wish.
