About me

Packraft Trip

Because free time is too valuable to be just “pleasant”

Your life is going well.
Work, social contacts, a schedule that fills itself.

And yet it increasingly feels the same.
Nice, but predictable.
A lot done, but little that really sticks.

My drive is simple:
to give free time meaning again.
Not by planning more, but by experiencing better.
With your body. With attention. With memories that last.

You’re looking for an experience that stirs something.

I work with people who recognize this

You’re not looking for a standard weekend getaway.
You’re looking for an experience that stirs something.

You recognize yourself in this:

  • you want to go outside, move, be in nature
  • you crave adventure, but without hassle
  • you want to experience something you can feel, not just retell
  • you don’t want to organize everything yourself
  • you want to do something together that stays with you

Your biggest wish?
To think afterwards:
this weekend mattered.

Looking for comfort, luxury, or just relaxation?
Then I’m not the right match.

Looking for fulfillment, simplicity, and a real experience?
Then probably I am.

Former military, outdoor enthusiast, and founder of these adventures.

Your story

My name is Steven Luiken.
Former military, outdoor enthusiast, and founder of these adventures.

I served for over 10 years in the armed forces as a medic and reconnaissance soldier, and later continued as an instructor. Operating outdoors wasn’t a hobby—it was daily reality. Relying on your team, your environment, and your own body was part of the job.

What has always stayed with me:
the moments that shape you don’t happen in comfort,
but in real experience.

After the military, that need remained.
Being outside. Moving. Simplicity.
Camping, navigating, dealing with water and terrain—not to survive, but to live.

Packrafting and hiking brought it all together.
And I saw how powerful this was for people.
Not just relaxation, but fulfillment.

That’s why I’m sharing this with others now.

I design and guide adventurous outdoor experiences with a focus on packrafting and hiking.
