The Mullerthal is an area that impresses with its rugged nature and timeless landscapes. Here, nature has formed into imposing sandstone rock formations, deep gorges and flowing streams that give the landscape dynamism. On the first day of your adventure, you will discover the Mullerthal on foot, hiking through dense forests, along gurgling streams and along rocky paths with impressive views. Your day starts actively with a packraft trip on the river Sûre, a perfect way to experience the landscape from the water.
The rivers and streams of the Mullerthal meander through green valleys, past small villages and quiet nature reserves. This area challenges adventurers: combine packrafting and hiking for an active exploration where you experience Luxembourg's diverse nature up close.
On the second day, you cross the border into Germany and explore the rugged Naturpark Südeifel. You will follow adventurous paths through jagged rock formations, narrow gorges and vast forests. Along the way, you'll be treated to spectacular viewpoints that offer you a sweeping panorama of the valley and surrounding landscape - moments you won't soon forget. After the hike, you board your packraft again and let it carry you downstream back to your starting point - an adventurous end to two intensive days in nature.

Day 1
Start your adventure on the water! From Dillingen, you paddle leisurely towards Bollendorf. The calm waterways, surrounded by lush nature, make for a special start to your journey. But it doesn't stop there: after arriving in Bollendorf, put on your hiking boots and hike along one of the most famous routes of the Mullerthal towards our cosy basecamp. Be surprised along the way by the impressive rock formations, picturesque forests and hidden gorges.
- Rafting: 6 km.
- Hiking: 14 km.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast – if you booked the food package – your second action-packed day kicks off. Today you cross the river and head into Germany, where the rugged Naturpark Südeifel awaits. Starting from Dillingen, you embark on an adventurous trek through a spectacular landscape: winding trails, steep rock formations, narrow passages, and breathtaking viewpoints. Every step takes you deeper into the mysterious heart of the park. After this intense hike, you arrive in the charming village of Wallendorf, where you swap your hiking boots for a packraft. From there, you float with the current and paddle over the gentle waters back to Dillingen – the perfect adventurous ending to an unforgettable day.

Overnight stay at Base-Camp Dillingen
A packraft adventure begins and ends in a place where nature and comfort come together: Base-Camp Dillingen. This atmospheric location, right on the water, is the perfect base for your trip. You don't need to bring anything yourself - rent a fully equipped tent that is already waiting for you upon arrival. Everything is provided: a comfortable mattress, warm sleeping bag, pillow, table, reclining chairs and a light for the evening hours.
Base-Camp Dillingen is located in the middle of nature, far away from the hustle and bustle. You wake up to the soothing sound of the river and start your day overlooking the rippling water. This is where the real outdoor feeling comes to life, without compromising on comfort.
The campsite has all the conveniences you need for a relaxing overnight stay. Whether you arrive after a long day on the water or are about to leave - Dillingen is the place where your adventure meets peace and nature.
