During our 2-day Packraft Trip, you will paddle through pristine waters, discover breathtaking views while hiking, and experience the wilderness in a unique way. This outdoor activity is suitable for sporty participants with a reasonable basic fitness level. No experience is required – our guides provide clear instructions. During the trip, there is plenty of time to take breaks and enjoy the beautiful nature.

Day 1
Adventure Along the Ourthe
The first day begins with a group briefing where you'll receive instructions on how to use the packraft and get an overview of the day’s route. You’ll start with a short walk through the charming town of La Roche-en-Ardenne. Along the way, you can choose to visit the historic castle – a great stop if you're in the mood for a bit of culture.
After the walk, you'll reach the starting point of your river journey: time to hit the water! Paddle at your own pace and take in the beautiful scenery and peaceful flow of the river.
Once you arrive in the village of Jupille, you’ll step back onto dry land and begin the hiking part of the day. Along the trail, you can find a quiet spot for lunch – one of the best is a bench with an amazing view over the valley.
The hike takes you through the "Land of the Beaver," a stunning route full of natural beauty and scenic vistas. As you make your way back towards La Roche-en-Ardenne, you’ll pass a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the Ourthe River.
Back in town, you can choose to grab a bite to eat or a drink before continuing on the final stretch of the route towards the campsite.

Day 2
Hiking and Packrafting through the Ourthe Valley
After a fresh and nourishing breakfast, day 2 kicks off with an inspiring hike from the basecamp. A scenic and adventurous trail has been mapped out, taking you through a beautiful variety of natural landscapes. The hiking route partly follows the banks of the Semois River, nestled deep within the picturesque Ourthe Valley.
Along the way, you reach the impressive viewpoint Le Hérou, where you're rewarded with a breathtaking panorama over the meandering river and surrounding forests — a perfect spot to pause and take it all in.
Once you arrive at the starting point for packrafting, you inflate your packraft and set off downstream, heading back toward basecamp. Along the way, you’ll navigate lively rapids and enjoy peaceful stretches of calm water.
As you continue paddling, the striking rocks of Sy come into view — a true natural wonder you can admire right from your packraft. A unique experience that makes this day truly unforgettable.

Located on the banks of the river and surrounded by the rugged nature of the Ardennes, this is the perfect place to spend the night. Choose convenience: rent a fully equipped tent that is already waiting for you upon arrival. Everything you need is there - a comfortable mattress, sleeping bag, pillow, table, reclining chairs and an atmospheric lamp for the evening.
